What is the difference between fully automatic and semi-automatic fly ash brick machine?

Over time, the definition of fully automatic fly ash brick machine and semi automatic fly ash brick making machine has changed. Not only that, it differs from company to company.

According to Q Green Techcon Pvt. Ltd, the difference comes in the labour requirement and economic viability. There are four steps in making bricks, pavers and blocks. They are, batching and mixing, manufacturing of a green product, handling of the green product and curing. It starts with batching and mixing in which the raw material is weighed and mixed. This is then conveyed into the main machine that processes the mixed material and finally, the green product thus formed is sent to the handling system. In a semi-automatic fly ash brick machine, there is no automation in the handling system. The fully automatic machine comprises of an elevator, lowerator, finger car and cuber, that together form the automated handling system. Further, in a semi-automatic machine curing is done manually in an open space.

In case of a fully automatic fly ash bricks machine, a closed curing chamber is provided that ensures the product is cured within 24 hours. It is to be pointed out that a semi-automatic machine requires more labour. Hence, we suggest fully automatic machine to someone who has a high manufacturing capacity (5000 bricks per hour or more) because one needs to consider the economic viability when investing in a fly ash brick plant.

We are, however, trying to bring in productive changes in how the fly ash brick machines are divided and are continuously taking steps to add utility and value in our products. We take pride in informing our customers that we are the first to come up with a fully automatic 6-block machine in Bangalore and are looking forward to further revolutionaries the sector in a similar manner.

Why we use fly ash bricks in India?

Demand For Fly Ash Brick In India

Even though people in the construction sector have been discussing this for a long time. We want to inform our readers as to why fly ash bricks should be used in India. It has started gaining a lot of importance because of its low cost, uniformity, strength and less usage of mortar plastering.

Fly ash bricks are not only hundred percent reliable, but also last longer than any other building material. They are lightweight and have the high compressive strength and are very suitable for multi-story buildings as that exerts less stress. It also absorbs less heat, keeping the structure cool, in the humid climate of our country. It maintains a uniform shape and requires less mortar in construction.  They can be made in various sizes and shapes, so as to suit various projects like roads, dams, bridges, etc. When compared to burnt clay, it is less porous and absorbs very little water. This helps to save money and keep the structure strong during monsoon.

Advantages of Fly ash bricks

It has to be duly noted, that it is just not the brick specifications that make fly ash bricks a better choice. It is the feasibility of production, too. The cost of making fly ash bricks is not high as machines manufacture it. This in turn also reduces the cost of labour employed. As already mentioned, water usage is minimum thus saving up on raw material costs.

From the environmental point of view, it is a boon to the construction sector. This variant uses no coal. If worked on properly, it can completely eliminate carbon residue and emission from the brick making industry of India.

Because of all these advantages of using and developing fly ash, the government of our country has issued a number of programs and notifications to encourage its use.

Hence, given all these strengths and government support, the fly ash bricks industry is projected to see a boom and with passing time, every construction enthusiast will support and promote it with all his/her might.
